Established in 2007 as a UK charity, KCAC opened Nepal’s first International Contemporary Arts Centre in 2010. Our studios are in the garden of the Patan Museum. A tranquil space at the heart of a bustling medieval city. Our studios have now re-opened after the earthquakes of 25th April and 10th May.
KCAC is sponsoring three Nepali artists who have lost their homes: Muna Bhadel, Jeewan Suwal and Sandhya Silwal.
In May 2015 we launched an appeal to help artists & art projects which are helping people and communities in Nepal. For more information please click here.
